Camino, I'm Feeling You
The Camino de Santiago is a 500 mile pilgrimage across northern Spain - carry a backpack, sleep in hostels, meet other pilgrims from around the world. Discover your soul - the Camino will answer your heart.
Belen de Ponferrada
Belen de Ponferrada
English Version
A short musical story about an innocent evening in Ponferrada, Spain with an extraordinarily beautiful woman. She took my breath away and I composed a song for her. A special thanks to Belen for letting me use her picture and being kind.
Song Descriptions
Camino, I'm Feeling You
Story about a 450 mile journey hiking the Camino de Santiago across Northern Spain with a backpack - enjoying the richness of Spain, camaraderie of pilgrims, and the gracious Spanish people
Sounds of the Falling Rain
A spiritual experience - sitting in a New York cafe early in the morning, by a picture window looking out onto the street, in pure silence, and Feeling the Rain as a source of deep peace
From the Ramparts
Story from the "Ancient Chronicles of the Kingdom of Aragon" about my grandmother's ancestors in northern Spain - when the Moors conquered Spain in 714 AD, her ancestors refused to submit, defended their home, but were overwhelmed and retreated ,with thousands of others, into the Pyrenees - their descendants continued the conquest to recover their land - took 700 years (1492)- and we're here today to write about it.
My Mother's Garden
A son's expression and gratitude towards his mother on her passing. A grateful message for all mothers.
Belén de Ponferrada
Belén is a beautiful, blue eyed, Spanish brunette, from the city of Ponferrada, Spain - her picture adorns the album cover. During my 450 mile Camino de Santiago trek across Northern Spain, she shared a friendly conversation and a glass of wine with me. Her smile took my breath away and left me speechless. But her affable demeanor was enchanting. She shared some of her life story with me, and I promised to write her a song. This is it.
The Spanish version was with the help of my Spanish cousin,
Jaime Lopez Chicheri Daban
My Leah
Composed to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of a good friend whose deep love and affection for his wife, Leah, inspired this song.
Sounds of the Falling Rain
Imagine having coffee in a cafe gazing out the window onto the sidewalk - it starts to rain. Slowly, the raindrops make their way down the window pane, Each step of people rushing by, silently splash their shoes - and, yet all remains perfectly still and peaceful.
